'McKenzie'
SaraJen McKenzie Abbey 8
Pedigree
Born:   6/10/05        Brown Classic Tabby with White Female

Sire:  IW, SGC SaraJen Jaegermeister
Dam:  CH Cooneyisle Tizzylish of SaraJen

This striking brown classic tabby with white female is a beautiful Jaegermeister baby. She was recently spayed after her third litter of lovely babies.

'Kenzers' has a warm, friendly temperament with good manners!  She is loving and full of quiet purrs. She is tall, long and beautifully marked ( thanks to her Mom, the Tiz!) with an excellent, correct head graced by big, well-placed, tufted ears.

McKenzie's most recent cardiac ultrasound was in October 2006 and she showed no signs of HCM at that time. She has also been tested for the HCM Gene Mutation (cMyBPC-3) and is negative.

'Rosie'
Regional Winner, Supreme Grand Champion
SaraJen Four Roses Premium
Pedigree
Born:  3/15/02         Brown Classic Torbie with White Female

Sire:  IW, SGC SaraJen Jaegermeister
Dam:  Champion Coonyham Trooper of SaraJen

Rosie is a very affectionate, attention demanding gorgeous princess. She is very talk and long in the body, with a beautiful head -- long, boxy muzzle, square chin, huge ears, lovely scoop to her profile. She has great size and boning for a female, without being one bit chubby. We think she is terrific!

As it turns out, the judges seem to think she's pretty hot stuff, too, since she became a Grand Champion at her very first adult show!!  By only her fourth show she had progressed all the way to a Supreme Grand Champion -- way to go, Rosie!!  She finished as 11th Best Allbreed Cat in the TICA Mid-Atlantic Region for 2002-2003!

Rosie had her first cardiac sonogram in November 2002 and was clear of HCM at that time.

She has a very long body and is "tall on her legs" -- and she has a great, clear classic pattern to boot. Piper was bred by Terri Miller of Stacalone Cattery in Pennsylvania. 'Skyy'
Regional Winner and Triple Grand Champion
Coonpulsive Skyy of SaraJen
Pedigree
Born:  10/31/01         Brown Classic Tabby Female

Sire:  RW, SGC Coonpulsive's Big Bend
Dam:  SaraJen Virginia

Skyy is our fairly new fabulous brown classic tabby girl. She is a granddaughter of 'Lucy.' Lucy's daughter, Virginia, went to live at Patty Koehler's cattery (Coonpulsive) and was ultimately bred to the handsome and ever-charming 'Benny.' There were many lovely kitties out of that breeding but we think we have the 'star' with Skyy. She has an exquisite head -- square, boxy muzzle, gentle scoop to her profile, HUGE and perfectly placed ears with lots of lynx tipping, big expressive eyes, and good boning. She is a moderately warm brown classic tabby with very clear markings. But above all, she has a wonderful 'love me - I love you' disposition, which she displays by her head butts and rumbling purrs.

She was shown in only 4 TICA shows as a kitten during the 2001-2002 show year, but she won so consistently and placed so highly that she earned the honor of Best Maine Coon Cat Kitten in the entire Mid-Atlantic Region for the year, as well as being the 12th Best Allbreed Kitten in the Mid-Atlantic. As an adult she achieved the title of Quadruple Grand Champion and finished as 10th Best Longhair Cat in the TICA Mid-Atlantic Region for the 2002-2003 show year.

Skyy had her first cardiac sonogram November 2002 and she was clear of HCM at that time.

'Bacci'
Mainlysilver Bacardi of SaraJen
Pedigree
Born:  11/06/01         Brown Mackerel Tabby Female

Sire:  IW, SGC Mainlysilver Reed
Dam:  Merrimews Carousel of Mainlysilver

Bacci (pronounced like "bocce" ball) is our new, sweet, demure girl from Bonnie and Mike Pilar, who own Mainlysilver Cattery. Demure, that is, until you get out the toys -- then the tiger comes out!  Bacci is a lovely, winsome, large-boned female with a luxurious coat, a nice muzzle, good ear set, nice lynx-tipping, and a gentle disposition. We are very pleased to have her with us.

Bacci has had cardiac sonograms in November, 2002 and November, 2003 and she is clear of HCM at this time.

'Dixie'
Double Grand Champion SaraJen Dixie Stinger
Pedigree
Born:   12/6/02       Black and White Bi-Color

Sire:  IW, SGC SaraJen Jaegermeister
Dam:  Stacalone's 100 Pipers of SaraJen

This little chickie is such a piece of work!  Little Miss Dixie!  Loves to play and is quick as a fox. And loving to a fault. Given half a chance she'd ride around on your shoulders all day. Although a black and white cat is difficult to show off well, once the judges took a good look at her they generally like what they see. She has a nice long body, she's very solid, she has an extra long, lovely tail and she stands tall on her legs. Her muzzle is very boxy, she has a gentle scoop to her profile, she has very large, expressive eyes and her ears are large and perfectly set. We're anxious to see what she will produce.

Dixie had a cardiac ultrasound in Dec. 2003 and is clear of HCM at this time.

'India'
Regional Winner, Triple Grand Champion
Mainesuspect India Pale of SaraJen
Pedigree
ICA Regional Winner & Triple Grand Champion         Born:  6/26/00
Silver Classic Tortoiseshell Tabby ('Torbie') Female

Sire:  RW, SGC SaraJen Bookers Kentucky Straight
Dam:  Meowy-Kazowy's Emma Peel of Mainesuspect

India was such a fabulous welcome addition to our cattery. She is a gorgeous silver classic tortoiseshell tabby, sired by one of our boys (now retired), Tuck. She is breathtaking to view, with her silky, silver and white coat tinged with red. Beside the beauty of her coat she has wonderful head type, excellent boning, and a purrsonality that melts your heart. We thank Sherry Deloney of Mainesuspect cattery for this scrumptious creature.

India had two litters with us, but had difficulty on her third and we decided it was in her best interest to spay her. My wonderful vet, Dr. Marcus Brown of Capital Cat Clinic in Arlington, had always adored India (who wouldn't??) and so she went to live with him. Er.... well, actually she runs his clinic now. She's the resident diva in their beautiful, home-like  clinic, allowing all who enter to admire her. She also 'assists' the office folks with the clinic paperwork by draping her long, gorgeous body across their dual desk workstation and covering up whatever documents she wants -- whenever she wants.

India was ultrasounded August, 2001 and November, 2002 and was free of HCM at that time.

'Tess'
Champion SaraJen Tennessee Tea
Pedigree
Born:   3/22/04       Tortoiseshell

Sire:  IW, SGC SaraJen Jaegermeister
Dam:  Cooneyisle Sentimental Tryst

Tess is the first tortoiseshell we've ever bred and kept for our breeding program. When she was a very young kitten I was keeping my fingers crossed that her type would be such that she would be a showcat -- and 'hooray' -- that's the way it worked out. So she had to stay. She does have very good type, with large ears, a nice gentle scoop to her profile, a good, strong chin, and even large eyes -- which is sometimes hard on a non-tabby cat. She has great boning, complements of her sturdy parentage, and is just a lovely example of the breed. As a plus, she is a 'dark face' tortie, given her a somewhat mysterious air (she is about 6 months old in these pictures).

Even though she is a tortie, her general temperament is very friendly and nice. She only started to show some 'tortietude' at show when she turned about 10 months old, and then we decided it was time to let her stay home. She was able, though, to make some finals toward her Grand Championship.

Tess had a cardiac ultrasound in March 2005 and is clear of HCM at this time.
