Brown Classic Tabby and White
Sire:
Sire: Grand Champion, National Winner Tropikoons
Hang Ten of Mainesuspect 'Woodie is a fabulous brown tabby and white sweetheart!! When he was a 12 week old kitten we knew he was really, really nice, but we agreed to place him as a pet. As it happens, that particular placement didn't work out so he came back to us within a short period of time. Lucky for us!! As he continued to grow and fill out I realized this wonderful boy was staying with us. Funny how these things work out. We showed Woodie as both a kitten and an adult. Since he was still a bit 'gawky' at 8 months (as Maine Coon boys can sometimes be), we took his littermate, SaraJen Madras, out to shows first. After Maddie got her title of Supreme Grand Champion we finally took Woodie out at the age of 10 months. And he looked great! He finished his Supreme Grand Champion title in 3 shows, just like his sister! We couldn't be happier. In addition to being a winner in the show ring, he is a winner with the spectators, as well. He loves to stand on the grooming table on his back legs and stretch all the way up to my chin and give unrelenting head butts, purring all the while. He likes being a picture perfect Maine Coon ambassador! Woodie had his first cardiac ultrasound in June 2011 and was clear of HCM at that time. More pictures of Woodie coming soon.Woodie |

| 'Butchie' |
| Regional
Winner, Supreme Grand Champion SaraJen Virginia Gentleman Pedigree |
|
Born: January 23, 2009
Red Classic Tabby and White
Sire:
SaraJen Menunketuck of FogCity 'Butchie' is a very dandiifed high-white Maine Coon Cat boy-child. His registered name is "Virginia Gentleman" because of his elegant, shiny, silky red and white coat, with his long white 'waistcoat' gloves and vest. So, for a call name we just had to call him 'Butchie' because by appearance he is so NOT! Type-wise he is all Maine Coon. Although it's not so evident in this picture, up close and personal you'd see his very strong muzzle and chin and his lovely gently curved profile. His facial markings give him a pensive look which can melt your heart. Overall, he is wonderfully built, with powerful legs, a hard, muscled body and a long plume-like tail. We think he will make some beautiful babies with our girlie girls. He is negative for the HCM gene mutation; and he had cardiac ultrasounds in April 2010 and June 2011, and both were normal. Winner, Supreme Grand Champion SaraJen Scoresby TICA's 5th Best Allbreed Cat Internationally
(2003-2004) |
|
Born: September 3, 2002
Red Silver Classic Tabby with White Male
Sire: Champion
Coonoquan Brannan of Fogcity Scoobie is our darling beefcake 'pink' boy. He has a wonderful expression, a smooth, gentle scoop to his profile, a good, boxy muzzle and strong chin, fabulous boning and a glorious, luxurious coat. Never thought I'd be showing a pink boy, but there ya go! His personality is sweet and comical and it's hard to decide whether to hug him or laugh at him. Such a charmer. Scoobie had a fabulous show career. When he competed as an adult, during the show year from May 2003 to April 2004, he was Best of the Best Cat in Show no less than 8 times (! !), at venues all around the country. He finished in the International Championship Cat Standings with the 5th highest ranking of all cats that year -- 5th Best International Cat! We are honored and awed to be owned by this sweet boy. We recently retired him from our breeding program because he produced the handsome and sweet boy, Shiner Bock, pictured above. Scoobie had cardiac ultrasounds in December 2003, March 2005, October 2006, May 2008 and June 2011: all were normal and he is clear of HCM at this time. He is also negative/negative for the HCM gene mutation. |

Born: July 4, 2005
Black Silver Classic Tabby Male
Sire: International Winner, Supreme Grand Champion SaraJen Scoresby
(pictured above) Bock is a wonderful male, son of Scoobie and Ila. He is a gorgeous black silver tabby boy with an extremely long body , a luxurious coat, a gently scooped profile, a strong muzzle and just the kind of outrageous ears that we like on our cats! He also has this very, very sweet, gentle personality and he is extremely loving. What a pleasure to show this boy! We showed him as a kitten and he achieved a Regional Winner status. Then, as an adult he managed to become a Supreme Grand Champion in only two shows!!!!! This is truly a 'BEST' for SaraJen. Even his father, Scoobie, took three shows to accomplish that! Although we only showed him as an adult in three shows for the 2005-2006 show year he still achieved a Regional Winner status because of his high scoring. Bock had a cardiac ultrasound in October 2006 and May 2008 and is free of HCM at this time. He is also negative/negative for the HCM gene mutation. His hips have a preliminary 'Fair' rating from OFA.. Would you like to see more of this handsome, furry child?? Click here. |
